The key to making money in the booming Bulgarian property market
According to sources such as Novinite news Bulgaria recorded the world’s strongest house price growth last year amidst a global cooling of the property market. This is exactly what top Bulgarian property expert, Paul Watchorn has been predicting for the past few years. A study carried out by Global Property Guide (GPG) set the country’s house price growth at 30.6% (15.4% in real terms) to end-Q3 2007 from a year earlier.
Mr Watchorn claims to answer everybody that emails him with questions regarding property in Bulgaria, for free! managebg@gmail.com
Specialising in advising people with minimal budgets, Paul comments that the Key to buying in Bulgaria is all about relationships. He comments that people need to be able to form a lasting relationship with somebody that is actually living in Bulgaria, and has done so for some time.
Somebody that understands the culture, has bothered to integrate with the Bulgarian people, and fully understands the systems, rules and regulations in Bulgaria.
Otherwise says Paul, it is like walking around the top of a mountain in thick fog, you may not fall off, but the chances are, you will!
Going on, he says ‘buying property in Bulgaria is the same as everything else’. If you want a new DVD machine, and you know nothing about DVD’s, what do you do?
You find somebody that has been around for some time working in the DVD market, and ask his or her advice, this is not rocket science says Paul, but I still see and hear of people buying through street traders, with no offices, no registered company, no employment insurance, no, well you get the idea, but surprisingly it still happens, every day. It is not like I am hard to find, I am on UK television on various channels almost every week, it is not like my face is not known, I am forever being interviewed, just like now, right here in the middle if the street. It beats me why people buy without talking to somebody with real answers to real questions, but they do.
That was a transcript of an interview conducted when Paul Watchorn was leaving a seminar about Buying in Bulgaria. We wish to thank Paul for his continued good relations with the press in Bulgaria.
