Venice or Venezia like it is called in Italian is one of Europe’s most famous cities. What made the city so popular with tourists is actually its extraordinary location. Venice is situated in northern Italy and is built on a lagoon across about 100 islands of different size. Therefore you can find many tiny canals within the whole city and you will have to cross many tiny bridges if you want to explore its attractions. “City of bridges” is another name for the beautiful Italian City. You may ask yourself "Why should I visit Venice in Italy if I have it rebuilt in America in Las Vegas in form of the Venetian hotel?" Well the answer is nothing, not even the best replica, can give you the real flair of this beautiful city.
Apart from its location the city is also famous because of its history. Having been an important maritime power and a city of trade the city has always been a place to visit for people from all over the world, even in former time. You can find many beautiful buildings in the city such as the St Mark’s cathedral or the Doge’s palace.
If you visit Venice a must do is taking a boat trip on one of the canals. If you don’t have a lot of money you should take a water taxi or water bus on the Grand Canal passing the Rialto Bridge. If you have more money to spend and want to experience something really extraordinary you should go for a ride in one of the traditional boats of Venice – a gondola. Those boats are mainly used by tourist, but they give you a wonderful view of the city as you will also be able to pass through the tiny canals of the city.
Another thing you shouldn’t miss at Venice is having a real Italian gelato at an ice cream parlor and dining in one of Venice’s many fine restaurants that offer extraordinary Italian cuisine and that special Italian flair.

The effects of divorce on children, and of course for you, can be very painful but that is the only and bitter pill of healing process. After that, you can feel more at ease and eventually you will totally recover from what that has caused for you.
