My grandmother is the most efficient of shoppers. She is always coming up with birthday gift ideas even if it’s no one’s birthday. She is the mother of seven children. Five are girls, and two are boys. I don’t even know how many grandchildren there are and great grandchildren. I lost count at around forty or so. You could imagine it’s quite a daunting task to try to buy a birthday gift for everyone, but somehow she manages to do it. She will buy gifts all year round even during just regular grocery shopping. She always has gifts stocked up in a special closet, so if she ever forgets a birth date, she can just go into her special closet and pull one out! How very clever is that?

What is the most popular destination in the world? I will give you a small hint: it is where I will be in two weeks! That is right, I am going to Paris. Thirty million other people go to Paris every year. This year there will be thirty million – and ONE. laughing. I am pretty excited. I visited one of my favorite travel websites, www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/France/Paris/, where I found Paris hotels at some really amazing prices. In case you have not been to this site, go now! You will stay at the same hotels as you would have anyways, but you will save a lot of money!

Looking for a new job is the worst. Especially if you are not working at the time. The job site TheLadders is specific to higher end, higher paying (six figures) types of positions. It is nice to have a site that doesn’t have every job under the sun listed on it. Some sites have all types “make a million in a week….” type jobs. When you are searching, even when you put in parameters, it seems these types of jobs still seem to pop into your search. That can be very frustrating when you really need to find work. If you are in the market for a higher paying career then check them out.
