This fascinating Museum features a variety of exhibits related to natural and cultural history in Sierra County. There are several rooms of exhibits to explore at the Museum. The Fossil Room features the huge skulls of a mastodon and mammoth that were found in Sierra County, as well as other fossils and mineral displays. There are two Military Rooms, two Ranch Rooms, and a room devoted to Hispanic Heritage you can tour at the Museum. Other exhibitions focus on ancient southwestern pottery, Apache culture and history, mining history, and the history of local Hot Springs communities. With the variety of exhibits featured here, a visit to the Geronimo Springs Museum is a great way to become acquainted with the intriguing history of Sierra County and the surrounding area.
