For several months now, there has been a battle against broadband users who are illegally downloading and sharing files. Industry groups and officials have worked hard and endlessly, trying to stamp out this practice. Different measures have been used, for instance suspension of service or hefty fines, and this has still not curbed the illegal downloads. Game developers are now joining in the battle, and a report stated that thousand of broadband users are being targeted. There have been threats of legal actions from several major developers for a wide range of popular games.
An estimated twenty five thousand users are under surveillance by game developers like Atari, Realty Pump, TopWare Interactive, Techland and Codemasters. Some users who downloaded Lord of the Rings were contacted by the developers of the game, and asked to pay a fine of three hundred pounds. Users who failed to comply and pay the fine will be taken to court, and will be sued thousands of pounds. Early this week a woman found out that these were not idle threats, as she was fined sixteen thousand pounds by a developer. She was charged with illegally downloading and sharing files for the Dream Pinball game.
The legal firm that is representing the developers stated that the development firms are outraged by the magnitude of these illegal downloads. The firms have already obtained about five thousand addresses for these broadband users. The legal firms are now asking that courts make it mandatory for the ISPs to release the addresses of another 25,000 broadband users who have engaged in such illegal activity.

I just purchased sickness insurance. I was in the hospital for a few days due to an illness. I had to be off work, and I didn’t have any vacation days available. Therefore, I had a few days off without pay. It got me thinking. What if something more serious had been wrong? What if I would have had to be off work for a much longer period of time? How would I pay my bills? Now that I have sickness insurance, I don’t have to worry. If I ever require hospitalization for an illness again, I will receive a specified amount of money each day that I am hospitalized. I won’t have to worry about missing work and not receiving a paycheck. I won’t have to worry about how I will pay the bills.

I have resolved to take care of myself more by having an exercise routine daily. I promise to start on Monday as I am still considering what I need to concentrate on, what areas of the body I mean. Although right now, I already know that I should do some Back Workouts because of the back pains that I seem to have daily. My hubby said it seems to be because I am always sitting down and hunched over my laptop. How can I work and not be hunched over? If I can exercise while typing I would. But I can’t so I guess the nearest thing I can do is do some workouts for my back.

The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, or NCCPA, accredits those students who have completed & passed courses for becoming Physician’s Assistants.
Even though it’s easier than becoming a doctor, Nccpa Physician Assistant training course is demanding, participants say.
My friend Kelley enjoys the challenges, however, & is rigorously pursuing her career in this supportive branch of the medical profession.
She’s also excited about the fact that when she graduates, she will be able to glean a substantial & respectable income.
Kelley is now currently investing 12 hours a day, 6 days a week into her studies & will graduate this Fall.

In preparation for the August 22 launch of the iPhone 3G, the Singaporean carrier SingTel has offered up the pricing for both the iPhone and its calling plans.
Overall it seems like their pricing will be a little on the high-end side with a variety of options for calling plans, customers can choose from either an iFlexi Plan or a SingTel Plan, however the iFlexi Plans are only available until September 5, 2008.
As we have seen in a few other areas, the pricing for the phone will vary depending on the calling plan that you choose. For customers who choose one of the iFlexi Plans both the 8GB and 16GB model will start as low as free and go up to $348 for the 8GB model and $508 for the 16GB model. Customers choosing one of the SingTel Plans will again get the handset for anywhere from free up to $698 for the 8GB model or $848 for the 16GB model. iPhone News
The iFlexi Plans range from $56 a month for 200 outgoing minutes, 500 text messages and 1GB of data and go up to $205 a month for 1500 outgoing minutes, 1500 text messages and 3GB of data.
The SingTel Plans seem a little cheaper, however they all require the addition of a data plan which runs $19 a month for 500MB of data transfer. The plans range in price from $25 a month up to $192 a month and include anywhere from 100 outgoing minutes and 500 text messages up to 2000 outgoing minutes and 2000 text messages a month.
