I like to travel. I travel every few months because otherwise I ge treally bored. Traveling gives me the chance to meet new people, explore new cities, taste new food, and visit cultural events. I don’t get why people don’t try or learn how to travel and backpack the world because it would really help them.
I think a lot of people are afraid. It takes a lot of courage just to leave your home and go into a new city where you don’t know the language or the customs. What if you do something wrong or go to jail? What if you get robbed? A lot of people are scared because the news makes it seem like it is a mean world out there. I think this is why people go on package tours because it lets them see a new country but without ever leaving their comfort zone. I think if people really want to see a new country, they are going to have to leave their comfort zone.
