Last month, there were large groups of people that got together to protest the amount of spending the currenet government is doing. The gatherings came to be known as Tea parties. Whether you agree with the demonstrations to protest spending and high taxes or not, you do have to appreciate the message that is getting out. There are some people that don’t pay attention to politics at all. Because of the massive media coverage these events got, they opened up a whole new world of politics for certain people. These types of events draw people in and the more people you can draw in the better. These events provided a great teaching platform to inform all of the citizens.
