I was happy to be visiting my cousin Megan up in Pasadena two weeks ago. I had to go up to Pasadena to check on a couple of scarce parts for my Porsche. I have an older Porsche 911 and the parts are not very plentiful. There is a good used part store in Pasadena has a lot of these types of parts. While visiting with my sister she told me about a piece she was working on. She writes for the Los Angeles Times and she was doing a column on how to grow bone. A lot of the writing has to do with health issues that affect women.

The other day I picked up my daughter Emily from her child care center that she has been going to since she’s been a baby. Meg, the owner of the center, has become a second mother to my little Emily. While I was picking her up on that day Meg asked me a couple questions about search engine optimization. I told her I was on the hardware side of things and didn’t know too much about that subject. I was doing a little business with one of my friends the other night down at the American Legion Hall. I have been selling life insurance for many years and I happen to use my legion hall as a place to do some of my business. I like the cozy atmosphere where everybody seems to feel at ease. Often times one can find me on one of the many Bar stools doing business. Other times I will be in one of the booths. I don’t have an actual business office and I suppose I will never need to get one either.
