When I moved into my new apartment, I did not really know much the people that lived across the hall. I figured that we would be acquaintances, but it wouldn’t go much further than that. Around tax season, I was pretty strapped for money, and my neighbor told me that they could help me out. It turned out that he was a top rated financial planner from the city, and his usual rate for helping people was more than what I pay for my car each month! I knew that it would pay off to be nice to my new neighbors!

I wonder what my insurance agent is going to say when I walk into her office with my laptop in hand and ready to do battle over my recent insurance premium hike. I have no problem searching around to get an instant car insurance quote right in front of her when she tries to explain the recent spike in insurance rates. There are so many other companies that offer better coverage for less money and I want to be able to comparison shop while I am in her office. Things are too competitive these days for her to try to take advantage of me.
