How To Save Your Marriage And Your Finances

Money is the number one cause of fights in families. Lack of money makes everyone miserable, and lack of coordination in spending creates conflict even when there is enough money. What many couples need is to get on the same (budget) page: 1. Spell out how much you make. All income sources are considered “ours”. There is no his and hers; do this, and it is a precursor to living separate lives as divorced couples. 2. How much is in savings? Again, there is no her money and his money, his savings and her savings, or individual debt. This can be a difficult moment, because financial honesty requires admitting one overspent, gambled and rang up debts the other did not know about, or that they were indeed not “making it” as the other thought. 3. Go through your bills. Find out how much you are spending. Know where the money goes. If one spouse says they do not or can not do this, tell them it is necessary to save our marriage. If they cannot be honest on money already spent and recorded in paper bills, how can they be trusted with anything else? 4. Plan a written budget based on your needs. Food, shelter (house payment or rent payment), clothing, utilities (water and gas and electric) go first. Childcare, car payments, and debt payments are next. Luxuries like spas, manicures, gym memberships and “blow” money are last. Set amounts that are realistic and based on what you are actually spending. This can cause conflict, when one person realizes how much the phone bill actually is or how much is spent on food. 5. If there is more month at the end of the money, agree on where to cut. Agree on what has to go. And NO CHEATING! Financial infidelity (lying about money) is required for marital infidelity (to have a relationship with someone else), to fund drug habits or gambling problems, or to admit that one has a shopaholic in the house. How can you say you want to save our marriage if you won’t admit where hundreds of dollars goes each month? Get your priorities and your budget in line, and the number one cause of fighting in marriages will go away.

How to Buy a Car with Bad Credit: Cash out

You may have a bad credit, remember that you can still in on every car dealership with the same pride as those who have good credit accounts. If you have a bad account, then find a bank that would support you with a loan and cash out the car that you want from a certain car dealer. That is just one tip on how to buy a car with bad credit. Walk in with head up high, show off that confidence so as not to be undermined and choose the best deal for you.

Having a secure wireless network

Are you a wireless internet user? If you are, you might want to consider getting a secure wireless network. This is a very important step that many people seem to ignore. Without a secure wireless network, your neighbors or even outsiders who happen to be lingering nearby can download stuff from the internet using your wireless account. I am sure you do not want that to happen because you pay for the wireless network every month and your amount of permissible monthly download has a limit to it. Also, having a secure wireless network protects you from hackers and identity theft

Metal Wall Art Makes an Excellent Decorating Choice

Have you ever been to someone’s home who chooses to use metal wall art for his or her decor? It can be absolutely striking if it is used to its potential. What I mean by that is the pieces have to be chosen carefully and then hung or placed in the best places to display them. If you take the time and effort to choose the right pieces, and then you display them in the most flattering way, you will likely be very pleased with the results that you will receive. I know this because I have a house full of this type of decor.

Missing each other

Once when my husband and I were sitting in the Celestial Room at the mormon temple in Seattle, he had gotten to the room first and by the time I joined him, he said that he wondered if that was what it would feel like if he were to make it to Heaven first and wait for me. He said, “I missed you while I was sitting here and I think I will miss you in Heaven.” That’s the thing that scares me the most about death – missing each other. That was one of my sweetest experiences at our favorite mormon temple where we got married. He said he never wanted to miss me for too long.

Replacing iron girders with Oak beams is visually very effective.

A good way to amend your space to a welcoming fashionable area is through oak flooring and Oak Beams. A lot of houses have settled for iron girders in their own houses and then just mount them in. Oak beams will completely amend your house from a home that you are attempting to cover to a place that you need to show off. With oak flooring, it is possible to draw positive vigor that will spread throughout the area. There is a vast penchant for hardwoods to be more resilient than the softwoods. This can tolerate any wide ranging harms like man made and insect harms. Using either oak flooring or oak beams by itself may not give you the finest result.

It is Time to Get a Term Life Insurance Quote

It seems like it is always such a busy time that I get backed up on things that are very important.

I kept telling myself that I have got to get a term life insurance quote. I finally went ahead and got it done. I needed to be sure that there would be enough money to help my family with expenses. Term life insurance is the type of insurance my Father had and he was an insurance salesman. When I was 21 my Dad bought me my own policy. I paid into it and eventually got a loan from the money. While that is not the usual plan it helped in difficult times. I made a big mistake of letting my policy lapse. The good news is that I now have insurance and can move forward with confidence.
