The other day I could smell this odd, not very pleasant odour and couldn’t quite work out what it was. I searched and cleaned, to no avail. Eventually I traced it to the pantry where I keep my herbal remedies and found a dark spot with bits of glass on the floor where my cat had knocked over a bottle of my Valerian tincture. Valerian has a bit of an unpleasant smell, but it’s really effective to help you sleep if you have problems sleeping. I just take thirty drops of the tincture in half a glass of warm water and half an hour later, I’m off with the fairies.

As I write this, my baby daughter is sitting on my lap trying to grab the computer keys. Her tongue is out and she has a big grin on her face. I can’t help but think about the choices I’ve made in the past, and how they might affect her. When I was younger, I took out a lot of money in student loans. I didn’t really want to finish college, though– I just wanted to play. Now it’s time for me to pay off those loans, and I can’t do it. That’s why my daughter and I are living in a trailer right now. I want better for her. I should find a way to consolidate federal student loans. If I do, maybe I can get a lower payment, a loan deferment, or a plan based on my income.

With the cost of electricity going up all the time, my wife and I made the decision to try and cut some of those bills any way we could. We started by keeping the lights off until we needed them and unplugging things we weren’t using, but it still wasn’t enough. That’s when I heard about Home Solar Panels that you could install yourself. I was immediately interested. We would be able to decrease our energy bills and save on power at the same time.
