When my husband’s mother came over last weekend she told me that she had some new recipes that she wanted to try out. My brother Randy called me on the phone to discuss some of the problems he has been having with his computer. My father likes to smoke tobacco in a pipe. His old pipe is wearing out, so I decided to buy him a new one for his birthday. I found so many cheap tobacco pipes on the internet that were very nice looking. I didn’t realize there were so many different types of pipes. I had a little trouble deciding which one to purchase for him, but I finally settled on one. He was very happy to get it. He said he had been wanting one for a long time. As a single dad, I had to learn how to stay organized. Now I am ready to give you tips on how to organize your life. First, establish a daily schedule. You can’t be organized if there is no routine. On school days, everyone is up, dressed and ready for school at the same time. The older kids make lunches while I make breakfast. Next, pick one day of the week for grocery shopping, chores, and laundry. Have all the kids pitch in with chores. If you stick to this simple plan, you will get organized fast. At first the kids may not be happy about the new routine, but once they see how much better life is, you will all appreciate it.
