I’ve always loved getting the end piece of chewy brownie as my piece. Now, they’re all mine. Seriously, I loved the idea of all the squares being nice and even and that they were all end pieces. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Seriously, the commercial did not lie, it was easy to use and easy to clean up. They should pay me to do a commercial for them.

I am going to Majorca this year, to meet with some of my family on my dad’s side, there’s not a lot of room, so I am looking at deals in Majorca hotels. Every few years, they have a re-union and I have always been too busy to go before, so I am really looking forward to seeing all of my cousins too. It will be really nice to get some sun, sea and sand too and I am sure there will be more than one game of beach volleyball to be had. I really like waking up near the sea too, so I think all in all, it’s going to be the perfect trip.

My best friend and her husband just found the best deal. They went to one of those court house auctions and found several tax foreclosure properties that they were interested in. They ended up buying two of them. One of them they are going to turn around and rent to the person who used to own it and the other one they are going to fix up and live in themselves. How cool is that? They were able to get 2 houses for the price most people pay for only one. Plus, one of the houses is going to virtually pay for it’s self with the rent money.

I have wanted to have a deck for a long time, and now that I have one, I want to put a deck awning over it. But also and furthermore I want to add a swing to the deck awning and have it swing very gently. There are reasons for these wants. Memories of my father sitting on one of these very swings and having the perfect deck awning to go over the deck, they are memories I cherish very much. My kids are starting to really show a lot of interest in copying dear old dad, and I have to admit it is making me pretty proud of them. They like to be my little helpers with all of my household repair tasks, and even with the outdoors jobs like mowing the lawn. They saw some zero turn lawn mowers on the web yesterday and they told me they had found the perfect thing for our back yard. Both kids said that these are really the best thing for dealing with the very hilly land like we have, and I think they might be correct.

While I have never considered myself particularly handy I find that over the years I have actually done some pretty good work around my home. My wife always seems to have enough confidence for the both of us; this however, might be a manipulation tactic! So when I broached her with the idea of finishing our basement she was more than enthusiastic. I started with some research on owens corning basement panels diy and got some great ideas.
