March 9th, 2008
For all military personnel, serving the country is an honor. Their immense contribution in implementing the law and keeping the country’s peace and order clearly tells their dedication to their promised duty.
In other countries, the dedication of military personnel are being recognized in different ways. Aside from commemorating their bravery and immeasurable love for the country every 11th of November, these extraordinary people are also getting benefits from their respective government.
The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is a government branch that provides patient care and national benefits to the US veterans and their immediate families as well. Besides the state recognition, there are also several private support groups that give recognitions for the veteran’s unswerving service to the country. These associations provide special privileges and benefits such as discounts to different establishments, free gifts and other business and financial services.
