Bioethanol aeroplanes.

December 12th, 2009

Carbon Dioxide is one of the main contributers to the greenhouse effect.  The bigger the holes get in the ozone layer, the more heat is emmitted onto the earth.  This might sound nice in the short-term, as we’ll get hotter summers, which is good for sun-worshippers like me.  However, slowly but surely the polar ice caps will completely melt away, causing the sea levels to rise and swallowing up whole countries.  Aeroplanes emmitt a scarily large amount of CO2, and so people are protesting against domestic flights in England to cut down CO2 emmissions.  But if people invest money into Bioethanol, research could be done to make aeroplanes that run off bioethanol, cutting CO2 emmissions down to a much safer percentage.
