Consulting Business Plan: Highlight Unique Qualifications

January 4th, 2008

There is generally only one principle in a consulting business and that’s the actual consultant. Although they may have others working for them, the focus of the business is on their unique qualifications. In the executive summary section of Consulting Business Plans, the consultant’s education and life experiences should be noted. Of course, it’s just those experiences and educational achievements that are relevant to their chosen specialty. For instance, a doctor who now wants to consult in legal cases would like his or her medical background and how it relates to the specific area of the law. Someone who wants to counsel others on what works of art to purchase should have some degree of experience in this field and that should be listed.
