Within the UK any company institution that uses a minimum of 5 employees is required to comply with the countries fire protection and safety code. This means that the boss should be able to guard his staff from the risk of fire and offer tools should a fire break out.
One effective tool that any boss should supply is supplying his employees proper fire safety training. programs are provided by accredited companies that offer theoretical and actual fire training on how to use fire extinguishers and other safety equipment should the need arise.
All these training courses can last anything from a few days to a number of weeks depending on what topics are being covered. These topics can include preventative measures, types of fires, fire fighting tools you may find in the work place and how to activate fire alarms.
Many of the topics covered in this training can also be useful in the home environment.
