EMyth aka Entrepreneurial Myth

Businesses like all other things involve various practices as well as myths. In the terminology of businesses the biggest myth is the EMyth or Entrepreneurial Myth. The term refers to the myth that experts in certain technical fields such as in the making of a product or service can also run a related business expertly. The fact of the matter is that most of the businesses fail because of this myth. The factor that contributes to the failure of these people is that the technicians are not trained to run a business. They do not possess any true business or management skills.
