Ergonomic Keyboard Feature: Adjustability

August 4th, 2009

Did you know that most cases of repetitive stress injuries are caused by the wrong keyboard? The keyboard is the main line of communication between the user and the computer. That is why it is very important that you have an ergonomic keyboard to avoid such injuries that could compromise your work performance and, more importantly, your health. Perhaps the most important ergonomic feature a keyboard should have is adjustability. The height of the keyboard position should be appropriate to the height of your chair and your arm length. Since you are most likely to switch positions throughout the day, you must also be able to adjust and fine tune your keyboard to fit your position.
