Helping a Friend

A friend of mine is a building contractor and he asked for my help. I am not a construction worker, but I am a handy guy. My friend had taken this contract that had a penalty clause if he went past the expected completion date. This job had run into several difficulties during construction so the penalty date was looming. I helped him with the roofing and I helped with the painting by operating the drum mixer. We got the job done on the last day of the contract before the penalties would start to cost my friend money against the work he had done.
