How do 3D glasses work?

How do 3D glasses work? I ahve always wondered that, but I have never done any research on the subject. I have also never asked anyone. #d glasses allow you to see certain television shows and movies in a different way than you normally see them. I just don’t know the scientifics behind it. I don’t know how the glasses work. I have always wanted to know, but I think I have been too embarassed to ask. I guess I’m certainly not the only person that doesn’t know how they work, but I never hear anyone else asking.
