How should I handle collections calls if I’m in debt settlement

So how should you handle the debt collection situation when you are enrolled into a credit card debt settlement program. For one many debt settlement companies should be able to some degree slow the calls down. However no company will by law actually be able to stop all of them. The best advice is to speak as little with the debt collectors. Their only intention is to harass you and collect as much as they can. They will record all of the personal and financial information they can get about you, which they may use against you later on down the road. So the best advice is to keep a tight lip and do not even speak with them.
