How to Improve a 600 Credit Score
June 23rd, 2010
A 600 credit score is close to average, but this shouldn’t discourage consumers from trying to be smart about how they borrow and repay money. A 6600 credit score is low enough to disqualify consumers from car, home and credit card loans. If your credit score is low due to little credit history, you may consider opening a credit card account through your bank. Make sure to pay your bill and keep charges below the spending limit. If your score is low because you’re buying too much with credit, focus on paying off your credit cards and loans before making more purchases. You could even consider returning or selling items that you have on payment plans. If you are diligent, your credit score will gradually improve.
