Leveraging my small business management experience in my own venture

One of my life long goals has been to be my own boss. I have been investigating business opportunities with the desire to either purchase a franchise, start my own business or buy an existing business. I have several years of small business management experience gained from working with my existing employer. I am relying on this practical experience to stand me in good stead for owning and operating my own business. There is a trade show coming up and I plan to attend to learn more about the available opportunities. I am hoping this will give me the opportunity to learn more about the current franchises that are available.
