Marketing Strategy

I am trying to work on the business development plans for my company. Right now I am working on a marketing strategy. However, as I am not a marketing professional I could really use some help with marketing ideas. I am setting up a website with our products to make our products available to more people, and I am putting an ad in the phone book as well. I’m not sure whether it would be cost effective to put an ad on television. I need some help designing a good website and coming up with more marketing ideas for my business.
