Standard or Custom Configuration?

March 27th, 2010

It can be difficult to determine what situations might be ideal for investing in a custom configuration and which are more suited for a standard setup. In a lab, there are times when you need basic operations, at economy prices. However, other times, those specifications would not be adequate to meet your particular needs. A lab needs to use epoxy countertops in order to maintain proper function. Sometimes, however, the standard sizes won’t cut it and you need something that is custom tooled and designed. Other situations may need a higher quality material or a better finish to hold up to continued use.
