The Innovative Electric Strike

The electric strike is a creative innovation that has changed the way people secure their houses, and gets access to and from them. It is an automatic way of controlling access to an establishment, making egress to and from the same establishment efficient without sacrificing safety. The electric strike comes in two kinds, the fail-secure and the fail-safe electric strike. The former keeps the door locked when electricity fails, while the latter keeps the door open when electricity fails. The former makes it possible still to open the door through the use of the door knob. There are other differences that these kinds of the electric strike have but are only minor ones.
