They’re not brochures

Many business owners are reluctant to retain the services of a professional online copywriter — their thinking goes something like this: I developed an effective brochure for my business, and I’ve written a couple of newspaper ads — why can’t I write my own online content? Here’s why you can’t: online content is not at all like print-only publications. For example, online content may need to be structured so that it is very readable on a website alongside of advertising — something that normally would not happen with traditional sales brochures. Because this is such a specialized field, you really may not have the proper background — so for best results I honestly recommend that you use an experienced professional instead.
