Virtual Assistant Training Tips

November 9th, 2008

When hiring a viritual assistant, it is important to offer detailed and very specific instructions. Remember, the more detailed and specific your instructions, the better your experience will be. Save these instructions! In fact, have your assistant compile them, so you have a Virtual Assistant Training training manual for future employees. If you are looking to become a virtual assistant yourself, very little training is needed, and most of it is learned on the job. Different clients have different needs, after all. Basic skills in e-mail programs, Microsoft Word, and a basic phone skill set is important, however. You should have a very good understanding of how the internet works.
