Why Get Cat Furniture?
November 23rd, 2009
The perfect cat furniture is the one that provides your cat a safe and secure place to sleep in, take a nap, play around, or just observe its owners. This is why many cat furniture items are comprised of mini-steps, perches, and tunnels to explore. Unfortunately, this design may make it difficult for you to clean your cat furniture. To help you out, here are some tips and guidelines to effectively clean your cat furniture:
Disassemble the cat furniture.
If your cat furniture is composed of several items such as steps or perches, make sure to disassemble them and separate the items. This makes the cleaning process a whole lot easier.
Get rid of fur or cat hair.
When removing cat hair from easy-to-reach places, you can use a roller brush that’s meant to remove lint or cat hair. As for nooks and crannies, put on some gloves and remove the cat hair with your hands.
Use a stain remover.
If the cat furniture has cat or urine stains, simply use a stain remover. Make sure that the stain remover you use is free of harmful or toxic chemicals. And since stains are usually accompanied by a bad smell, use natural and non-toxic deodorizers.
