Unique Candle Holder

My husband recently gave me a very unique candle holder for my birthday.  It was far from your ordinary silver candle holder.  It was a very beautiful piece made from handcrafted deer antlers.  It was the perfect candle holder for our fireplace.  It fit right into the space.  I was having a hard time looking for one to go with the whole look of our vacation house.  Finally, my husband hands me a sparkly looking box.  When I unraveled the gift, I found the perfect candle holder.  Never in my life have I seen something as pretty.  Now it sits nicely by the fireplace where it belongs.

Get an Updated Replica Chanel Bag at a Cheap Price

Many women love the luxe look of designer handbags but just can’t afford the price tag often associated with them. It’s a competitive world, especially in the fashion industry, and to be hot you have to dress hot; carrying the trendiest bag and the hottest designer shoes are often integral to moving up in the professional world. There were a lot of themes walked on the runway for the fall season, one of which were rich, gemstone colors in new and modern shapes.

Think about Chanel’s new “it” bag, the Minaudière, seen on the autumn/winter runway. Designed by legendary House of Chanel fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, this ox-blood red clutch is a new and innovative twist on the classic Chanel 2.55 bag. The clutch features a whole in the main body of the bag to hold onto and a chic silver chain to wear over the shoulder. Chanel does classic better than anyone, but Karl Lagerfeld’s hunger for the here and now keeps the label fresh and very desirable.

The Things We Learn

Our daughter has recently acquired a love of the guitar. After spending a weekend at a friend’s house, that is all she can talk about. Apparently, her friend’s dad has a collection of guitars and allowed her to play two or three of them. She’s hooked. With her birthday quickly approaching, I have put in a call to her friend’s dad. He is out of town, but as soon as he returns I am going to ask him for a comparison of guitar types. I’ve decided to pick his brain to make sure we get her a guitar appropriate for a beginner. I just don’t want to spend a lot of money and have her outgrow its capabilities in a month or two.

Fairy Card Making

My daughter is turning five this month, and she has decided that she wants a fairy party. Not only does she want a fairy party, but she wants to plan everything herself, from the invitations to the snacks to the games. And she doesn’t want anything store bought! But she has graciously told me that I can help if I want to! So we’ve been looking at card making websites, choosing recipes out of her fairy cookbook, and gathering ideas for good fairy games. I think it is going to turn out really cute, and just might be more excited for the party than she is!

Vocal Training CD for Aspiring Singers

Many avenues are available for learning musical skills.  In the past, you usually had to hire a teacher and that was your only option.  Today, you could get a vocal training CD course for singing if you want to get better at singing.  Some of the CDs are good because they’re created by experienced, well known vocal coaches.  I suggest staying away from any courses, which aren’t very reputable in the singing market.  Many people claim they can teach singing, but they don’t have practical experience.  That”s what happened to me once when I was looking for someone to help me get better.  The person wasn’t exactly the help I needed because she din’t have good teaching skills.

Taking Care of the Choir Robes

As the person who takes care of the choir robes for our church I have discovered through trial and error several ways to make the job easier. First of all, get your measurements. Even though choir robes may be big enough to accommodate different body styles, they aren’t always long enough. I make sure to order a few extra and sew tags indicating the length and size in each. This is all stored in a notebook as well as a guest book where church members sign them out and back in when returned. Make sure to wash your choir robes all at the same time, even if they haven’t been worn, so that they fade evenly. This needs to be done probably three times a year. Depending on the fabric they may need to be dry cleaned.

80′s Bands – 1981 Top 40′s Six to Ten

Let’s pop the cork back to 1981 and recount songs six through ten on that years top 40 charts.  We can celebrate the sixth place song for 1981 with a cool band called Kool and the Gang with their cult classic “Celebration”.  For you lovers out there, Daryl Hall and John Oates took the number seven spot with “Kiss On My List”.

Next, with an artist that would not allow anyone to rain on his parade, Eddie Rabbitt held the eighth honors with his effort for “I Love A Rainy Night”, an 80′s bands classic.  If there are any workaholics out there, you may appreciate the ninth song on the 1981 Top 40 charts as “9 To 5” by Dolly Parton took the honors.  Rounding out the number ten spot was REO Speedwagon with their hit “Keep On Loving You”.

Free Podcasts From Disney On Broadway

We took our daughter to see Mary Poppins on stage in St. Louis and it was quite a performance. Since we got home, it’s everything Mary Poppins. We got her the CD soundtrack, the original novel, a miniature of Mary’s umbrella, and a little purse that looks like Mary’s carpet bag.

I also visited the show’s website and found out that they’ve got free podcasts about all of the Disney on Broadway productions.

I like helping to promote her interest in musical theater at such a young age. It’s certainly made my life much richer and more full. I hope it’s the same for her.

Cufflinks Take a Spot in Men’s Jewelry Fashion

Cufflinks are now taking a spot in the top men’s jewelry staples. Why is this so? It is simply because cufflinks add structure and dimension to their formal or even semi-casual look. Men of today appear to be accepting of the fact that they need such jewelry pieces in order to look not just good but better. You will see modern cufflink designs flaunted discount fashion jewelry on their wrists along with bracelets and necklaces. And because of this trend too that more and more women are giving cufflinks as gifts to the men in their lives. Titanium is a popular choice too. Perhaps because of its modern and “cool” look, younger men prefer this metal for their jewelry piece.

Dog Owners: Peace Of Mind Services

Another trend in recent years has been the increase in the number of hotels that are dog friendly. Pet owners are now taking their pets along with them while on vacations. Traveling on business trips or vacations along with your pet is a widespread phenomenon. Some hotels are now making arrangements to house the pets belonging to people who travel on business trip. Visit the page on pet portrait paintings to get more information. Special hotels meant just for pets are coming up at numerous locations. Some of these hotels are beginning to accept other ‘clients’ besides the regular clientele of dogs. A pet hotel is an upgraded option of a kennel which the pet owners can use to house the pet whenever they go on a trip.

Been Seriously Considering Getting Some Body Art Done

I have a few piercings here and there that I have gotten through the years. I like all of them but lately I have been seriously considering getting some more body art done. I have been thinking that I would like to get a few tattoos. However, I do not want to just get any old tattoos. I want to get something that means something to me. I have been checking out pictures of tattoos on the Internet to help me decide what I would like to have done. There are so many more ideas out there, I want to pick the exact right one.

I Was Looking For A Wedding Photographer

I had been attending the wedding of a friend but this time it was with more than a detached interest.   We were about to enter the planning stage for our own wedding so I wanted to see how things were done and more importantly what worked and what did not.  Out of all the wedding photographers in London they had picked Randy.   As I watched him work around the crowds and still get his pictures I started to feel like he was the one that we were going to want to hire.   When I saw the work that he had produced I was sure he was the right choice.

How painter David Shepherd has established a career

With the number of people patronizing modern British artists and many global painters, limited edition artist’s prints are being increasingly profitable these days.   If limited edition artist’s prints keep becoming popular, painter David Shepherd is one of those who will have strong sales.

Producing a number of paintings is just one of the means of establishing a career for painters like David Shepherd but this is one perfect way too.  Art prints are easier to make and so can be manufactured in large numbers, this being another benefit for the artists.  The profit margin of limited edition art prints is fairly high and successful painters take advantage of this because they can sell large quantities simply.  Canvas art prints are now replacing posters and the popularity of modern limited edition artist’s prints are increasing so the chance of it being sold is greatly improved.
