You will see the popularity of fundraising events that many organization do in organizing runs. There are many useful tools out there that can be used for gardening, but one my husband enjoys using in particular are his handmade corn hole boards. This nifty little contraption helps not only in planting rows of corn but also in planting other garden crop rows. We even use these in our flower beds for evenly spaced flowers and plants. To make these corn hole boards, my husband takes a piece of wood approximately 2 feet long and marks it off with little ‘dots’ in black felt-tip marker every so many inches. When he goes to plant some of his seeds or bulbs, he uses this as a kind of ‘gauge’ as to how many to plant, how far apart, etc. It comes in handy and makes for good gardening! I can’t remember the exact name of this one particular gardening implement, but it’s used to go down deep when getting at the root of things such as dandelions. Sometimes I’m just too lazy to go and get this and use it and start pulling up weeds by hand;and then, because of not using this particular garden tool, the weeds just come up again shortly thereafter, duplicating the work effort over and over. I had one of the above garden tools that I inherited from my mother, but it was so well-used and old that the wooden handle finally gave way (as I was digging and pulling out a dandelion–wonder what the neighbors thought as they saw me fall backwards at the ‘sudden release’ of the handle!) and it had to be replaced. My husband surprised me one day out of the blue after hearing me tell him about the ‘dandelion incident’ and gave me a new one he had purchased for me at a local hardware store. This new one seems to be much sturdier and has a solid stainless steel digging area on it (great for those of us who forget to clean our tools after being done using them).

As I look around my home, I am overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I have accumulated over the years. Who knew I had two copies of the Joy of Cooking and that I have three sets of drills but have none of the drill bits? I have unearthed boxes of cheap golf trophies from mini golf tournaments I joined a few years back and I even have a whole shoebox of all the movies I’ve seen since 1989! Hoarding problem? Probably. Do I care? Not really. I’m the first to admit I’m highly attached to my stuff and as long as I still have visible shelf space and I can still close my closet doors, then it’s nobody’s business but mine. Other people may think it’s junk, cheap and useless, but for me, it’s an entire lifetime that I surround myself with, and no one will take it away from me until I’m good and ready- which probably means never.

As soon as I knew how much money I could save by ordering my son’s hockey gear at an online Ice Hockey Shop, I never purchased anything from the rink’s shop again. I did go and have his skates sharpened there, but that was it. I knew I was saving at least a few hundred dollars every year by getting his gear online. Hockey is not a cheap sport by any means. I need to save anywhere I can on his hockey equipment.

Whenever I decide to do something, I do it with complete enthusiasm and excitement. Few months back when I wanted to learn golf, that time before making any fast decision I first collected all information about golf and its training. Later I started training of golf at the academy and started practicing. But I did not want to make a golf swing before having proper knowledge about it. So I started reading a large number of articles on the internet and got myself educated about it properly. This helped me play the golf accurately and the results I got were incredible.

Us golfers are constantly searching for new strategies and different ways to improve our game and trying to do things that can give us an edge. It is a basic golf concept, but the results are fabulous.
The Stack and Tilt Golf Swing was being taught by Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett, regular golf swing technique instructors.
It derives its name from the fact that it “stacks” the golfers weight over the ball creating significantly better contact. The greatest advantage of this technique is consistency and the fact that the golf ball goes further and be more accurate. The golf swing itself will feel considerably more natural than the conventional golf method.
