Importance of Computer Hardware In Daily Life

Computers have become as common as cockroaches in the kitchen. Every day thousands of new computers are being bought or repaired. But the pitiful fact is that a vast majority of computer users are unaware of the hardware part of the computer. Their curiosity is limited to software only. Why so? That’s a tough one to answer. To begin with every body knows that hardware components of a computer are the parts which we can see or feel, like monitor, keyboard, printer etc. They may also know the purpose of each. But if you ask them to assemble these parts to form the computer or in the least ask them to clean it, they will say it’s the duty of the computer mechanic. Whenever the performance of the computer goes down, how many people actually wonder that the problem could be caused by the hardware? It’s only when the mechanic from a hardware supportline repairs it or replaces it, that people start to give some attention, but only for the time being. This attitude can be very bad. If people do not wish to gain knowledge about the Hardware of a computer, then he / she cannot use it up to the fullest. So learning about them is very important.
