What I Did Today

Today, I started my participation in an extracurricular writing project. The goal is to write a ten thousand word story by mid-August. Granted, this is not as much pressure as National Novel Writing Month is–fifty thousand over the month of November–but it is a real day job killer. Between that and my classes, I have no time to work. I do not want to drop my participation in this project, because I am really excited about the story I have planned out and I know I will never ever get it written down without this to motivate me. On the other hand, money is a good thing to have. Any suggestions?
