One of the most valuable things that I ever did while watching the wife of my best friend go through such an ordeal after he died, was to get a sufficient policy covering my own life, so that my family would not have to go through what my friend’s wife and children did. John had not had any cheap life insurance at all to speak of, and this put his family in such a tail spin when he was accidentally killed, that his wife Mandy did not know how she was going to make ends meet. Our community thankfully helped as best we could.
