Paying For A Trip Overseas

How should I consider paying for an upcoming business trip to a foreign country? While I know that my expenses will be recovered I am still suppose to be able to find the best way to handle the expenses in the first place. I have heard that if I were to use a credit card or debit card that I would incur different fees on top of the fees that will already be associated with the Foreign Exchange in the first place. I have never had to do this before and I will need spending money for entertainment of clients when I am gone.
