Identification of panic attacks cannot be made overnight. There should be a series of test and criterion of what triggers panic attacks. It entails a thorough study, research and evaluation before diagnosing a disorder. You might be curious of what falls under this criterion. Come to think of this, are you feeling inadequate with persistent feelings of helplessness and worry? Do you avoid situations in which you feel nervous? Do you have a repetitive intensive thought that cannot be controlled? If your answer is yes to these questions, you may be a strong candidate of panic attack disorder. Take note, only experts can diagnose a certain disorder related to anxiety or panic attacks, not you or your neighbour who is experiencing panic attacks. This disorder may not be harmful or can cause you any danger, but, this is a serious disorder that needs a counterattack of medication or psychological therapy.
