Aging prevented or at least delayed by taking in telomerase

July 22nd, 2010

Cells replicate and as they do, the nucleotides that keep people healthy shorten. The chromosomes in the body are being protected by telomeres that eventually run out as people age. This can be prevented or at least delayed by taking in telomerase.Back then, delaying aging is unheard of. Only recently did Dr. Blackburn start researching on the aging process and discovered this enzyme that could do wonders in preventing the signs of aging from becoming prominent. With this, people could look younger and the diseases that are associated with aging could be delayed as well. The nucleotide sequence would continue to replicate for a longer time and the body would remain youthful even when people are still maturing chronologically. People who use this could keep a youthful appearance even in their late adulthood stage.
