DIY Replacement Molded Auto Carpet

April 5th, 2010

We decided to keep the old Chevy for the kids when they learn how to drive.  While it had seen better days, the engine and transmission and body were sound. The carpet however was pretty much thread bare.  So we looked around and decided to install some Replacement Molded Auto Carpet. I called my local autoparts place and asked for a price and I did some price comparison on the Internet.  In the end, I decided to go with my local guy.  I got the carpet in three days and laid it out. I had it installed within about five hours. The car looks great inside and out.
