I Was Inexperienced

I went straight from living at home, to joining married life. In a lot of ways, that was good, as we both were pretty open minded about things. However, I didn’t have a lot of life experience taking care of finances, bills or other adult concerns. I guess I learned pretty fast, however.
I am now the person that pays close attention to budgeting items in our family. I just found the cheapest car insurance quote, adjusting that line item on our budget to be more affordable. I might not have started out very savvy, but I definitely have learned the tricks over the years.
