Integrated Womens Health Care: Is Fashionable

August 4th, 2009

Women and men share a number of common health problems but the one thing that sets apart women’s health problems is due to the fact that the effect of these problems on women is more serious. Did you ever know that some of the common diseases like osteoarthritis, obesity and depression tend to affect women more commonly than men? When it comes to women health care problems, they tend to neglect it under the effort to keep up their children’s and partner’s health. Early detection of some diseases like uterine, breast, ovarian and cervical cancer helps in their appropriate treatment in women.

Most of the women have to put up with some common vaginal issues like vaginal yeast infection, trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis. To take care of one’s health and to consult one’s health care provider is a must during pregnancy for a woman. My next post will be about, integrated womens health care.
