Ways to Remove a Mole

There is a number of ways to remove a mole. Laser treatment is just one of those mole removal surgeries. There is a disadvantage when laser treatment is selected; it only removes the superficial layer of the skin. It is widely used for flat benign moles. There are moles that go deep into the skin and can’t be removed by laser treatment as the Laser can’t penetrate deep moles. Another concern regarding treatment is that it may lead to a delay of diagnosis if a melanoma is cauterized. An incompletely removed mole tends to grow back. The advantage of laser surgery is the duration of treatment which is usually done in an out patient basis. Large moles that need to be cauterized take some time to remove.
