How to win at Jewish speed dating

You can win at speed dating even though you both initially meet for only three minutes. And especially if you are involved in Jewish speed dating

Here’s some tips to help.

First, be yourself.

Don’t act cool. Don’t pretend to be someone or something you are not. You will almost certainly be unmasked, and be assured no-one likes to be tricked like that! No matter who you are, you will be interesting and likable to many people.

Next, communicate quickly.

If you think you might like to get to know this person, even though you only have a few moments with them, tell them. I’m not recommending you blurt this out as the bell goes and you must move around the room. There are ways you can let the other person know you are interested … definitely interested.

Finally, go to the event relaxed.

Regard it as a fun evening with new, friendly peopl. If you turn up ready to do 10 interviews which are going to change your social life for ever, you’ll be tense, nervous and will almost certainly lose the opportunity. Chill out. Relax. Have some fun. Meet the people. The session might just work for you!
