Federal Loan Modification Program to Help in MS Foreclosures

Homeowners whose properties may be in danger of becoming part of MS foreclosures may be pleased to know that the Making Home Affordable program of the Obama Administration has reached an important milestone three weeks ahead of schedule. This program offers incentives to home mortgage lenders to modify the loans in such a way that the monthly payments will be easier on the budgets of troubled homeowners. The Administration has now informed the public that more than 500,000 of these loan modifications have been approved three weeks before the deadline of November 1, 2009.
