Encouragement in teaching my child to read

Parents and teachers support is very important for the ability of the child to read. Teaching my child to read begins with the encouragement for the child from his very first reading skill. Praise the child when he is reading also let him know that you value his thoughts. Try to understand his requirements and give him books that will be of his level and interest. Every child will have an independent level of reading and understanding them is very important. Ensure that the child is not being compared to other child’s reading skills and tell him encouraging words as and when required. A gentle manner will always encourage them to learn quickly and properly.
