Please let me know if IT will fix registry problems

There is a little known problem with slow-down and glitches on my computer that is driving me nuts. Do you know if IT can fix registry problems? First of all, I had no idea what a registry problem was, and secondly, I didn’t know IT handled this kind of problem. Mac in accounting told me to contact you to get this mess straightened out, before it snowballs and freezes my computer and I lose valuable time and information. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated, but more than that, please help me maintain a clean registry so we don’t have to fix registry problems like this again. Thanks!
